One of the finest ways to earn money on the net is to set up a blog, help it get popular and then sit back and watch while money flows in to your PayPal account through all of the ads that you put up in your sidebars, footers, headers, etc. If you happen to be good at it, you could use it to generate plenty of money each year. Obviously your primary purpose needs to be getting readers for your blog. You already know that the key to generating money through a blog is to get as much traffic as possible. But how do you expect those targeted visitors to locate you? How are you supposed to market your website when you are only a beginner? Here are a couple of hints:
1. Article marketing. You don’t need to do lots of this while you are first starting out. In fact, the smarter strategy could be to save your best material to build the body of the blog. Still you can truly help yourself if you publish a few articles on your pet niche topics. The more bylines you are able to build up on your own, the more you will support yourself. Just make sure that the articles are very well written.
2. Before you put up your advertising and marketing, try using a few of the traffic exchange programs. These programs can also be ways for you to find blogs that you would like to read. While you’re reading other blogs that the system sends to you, the system is delivering your blog to other users. Often this operates in a two to one percentage. For every 2 blogs you view, your blog gets sent to one person. People find you because you uncover them. It is helpful for everybody and can help you lift the numbers in your stats.
3. Add comments to the other websites in your field. Make sure the comments are well crafted and truly contribute something to the conversation. Don’t simply leave a little something that says “great job.” It is important that your comment demonstrates that you’ve read the complete post and that you’re sharing your true opinion. Not only will this get the interest of the weblog operator and other commenters, it could encourage them to also visit your site.
4. Reply to comments. This ought to be performed both in public and also in private. Two things need to occur when someone leaves you a comment. First you should respond to the comment within the comments section of your posting so that other people can see what it is that you have to say. Second, make sure you send the commenter a private e-mail to thank them for taking the time to comment on your writing. This goes a long way to endearing yourself to the commenters and it encourages new people to contribute as well.
Each of these ideas may be used to increase your blog’s popularity and visibility. There will be more available!
