I’m going to make your life far more easy if you want to make money online.
Putting up a money-making website is as simple as 1, 2, 3 — provided you have these 3 crucial elements set up.
(And, without having a website, I will share exactly how easy it may be to get one up TOMORROW. Yes, it truly can be that easy — so forget about excuses about “I want to get my website finished before I will do X,Y,Z.”)
Let us get started.
1. Use a place for visitors to opt-in and download a particular free gift within you. This can be as easy as a box located on the upper right-hand corner with the screen.
So why do you want to do this? Because using a list of prospects you are able to build a relationship with is essential to your business success. Use from people they are fully aware, like and trust. An internet site, no matter how extensive, will still only take you to date. Relationships are designed over time and through communication — and that’s why publishing an everyday ezine may be such a great marketing strategy.
Now, I would like to point another thing out — notice the way i said “a special free gift” Some say that opt-in box should say “subscribe to my ezine.” Nobody wants more email — their business want is methods to their problems. Should you give them trusted methods to their problems, they are going to take the time to read your emails.
2. Post an image of yourself. People wish to accomplish business with individuals. They want to engage with people. So why do you think major corporations pay a lot of money for spokespeople? Sure some of it is profiting from the spokesperson’s credibility, but some of it is also placing a face with an otherwise “nameless, faceless” corporation.
Folks, this is when YOU have the initiative from the corporations. You truly CAN touch base and build relationships personally along with your ideal clients. So proudly post your photo — you’re real person, let your ideal clients see you are a real person.
Now, I’d prefer a professionally shot photo when possible. And I would also prefer for the ladies to obtain your hair and makeup done (yes, it’s worth every penny). It really does change lives to your professional image. However, if you are going to use that like a reason not receiving your site up, then placed the best photo that you’ve RIGHT NOW.
Let’s say your goal is always to build a big business where people will be working with your team or the employees? Should you still placed a photo? Well, that will depend on where you’re at inside your business development. If you are just starting out, it’s easier to build momentum and obtain the ball rolling should you put yourself available. If you’re old, you probably still do (because, remember, people do wish to accomplish business with folks) but there may be other changes you will have to make in your site therefore it is clear there exists a team involved and not you.
Bonus tip — you could utilize a video rather than photo. Video is a good way to enhance your conversions (i.e. turning prospects into paying customers or encouraging these potential customers to give you their current email address) but again — if you are going to use video comes with an excuse never to more forward, then just get yourself a photo up.
3. Ensure it is VERY clear exactly what the next step needs to be if they desire to move forward dealing with you. Now, I am a big believer when you get the opt-in, when you look on my small home page you will see I do persuade folks to move forward through getting my freebies. But I also let them have very clear instructions on which they should do should they want to progress as a buying customer.
Now, how can you get started without having a website? Just set up one page which includes your photo, an explanation of your free offer and a location for people to provide you with their email address and name. (This is also known as the squeeze page).
There you have it. Yes it CAN be so simple to get started.
